That's a wRap!

Library Visitor day
WOW. We've spent two years together--learning, growing, working through conflict, and becoming a closer community. What a journey. During these last couple of weeks, we wrapped up our two years with lots of celebrations--we performed Reader's Theater for the third graders and for families who were able to come in and watch our performances.

Technology hour
Last week, we had a member of the Roseville County Library come in and tell us all about the summer reading program at RCL (which I HIGHLY recommend!). The kids were excited to learn about the different prizes and fun things they could do to keep up their reading during the summer. Last Friday, we had our final Jaguar Pride celebration, with a Technology and Games hour. Kids brought in their electronic devices and were allowed some playing time on them for the final "hour" of the day. They enjoyed it a lot!

We also had a short talent show on the last day of school, celebrated birthdays, created math raps about subtraction, and enjoyed spending time together signing yearbooks and having some extended recess time.

It's been a true joy and blessing for me to work with all of these students and their families over these past two years. I have learned a LOT in my first two years of teaching, and couldn't imagine a better group of kids and families with which to walk this road. So, THANK YOU. Thank you for your communication, for working with your children, for your support of what I do. They give me a lot of hope for our future! Have a wonderful, relaxing summer and enjoy the pictures!
